Account requests appear in Workspace > Users for an admin to approve. This static browser build stores requests locally; production multi-user approvals need hosted auth and a shared database.

A browser-only app cannot directly mount facility storage or control DaVinci Resolve for multiple users. For production, this needs a local service/agent on the facility network that exposes approved storage roots and Resolve render actions to the web app.

Editorial Submission

VFX submission status will appear here.

Resolve / Media Shuttle System Direction

Target production architecture: - Editorial role uploads EDL/XML/AAF plus sidecars to the configured Media Shuttle endpoint. - Admin/user role locks EXR, Resolve colour science, ACES version/output transform, resolution, handles, storage roots, and Resolve project settings. - A facility-side local service watches accepted submissions, resolves EDL events against original media on local storage, asks DaVinci Resolve to trim/render EXRs, applies the selected Resolve project/render settings, and writes directly to the VFX Vendor Offline space. - The web app should talk to that local service through authenticated API calls. That avoids browser security limits around direct hard-drive access and keeps simultaneous users coordinated through one job queue.
